IAPB President Bob McMullan is a former Minister of the Australian Government, holding several portfolios over a twenty year career in the Australian Parliament. He was most recently the Parliamentary Secretary for International Development Assistance and had previously served as the Minister for Trade, Arts and Administrative Services. Mr McMullan was the Special Envoy of the Australian Government to a number of African countries and an Adjunct Professor in the Crawford School of Economics and Government at the Australian National University.
He was also a member of the High-level Advisory Group of the United Nations Secretary-General on Climate Change Financing and until recently Director for Australia/Korea/New Zealand/Egypt at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Mr McMullan is currently an Adjunct Professor in the Crawford School of Economics and Government at the Australian National University.
