Action – To mobilise action of the 2030 In Sight Strategy. Providing a forum for developing solutions and reporting on progress. Building attendees expertise and capacity to deliver the strategy by 2030.

Connect – Bring together IAPB’s network to share experiences and expertise including the latest research and data in the sector. Showcase innovative approaches with an emphasis on local and regional approaches.

Attending in person?

The event is taking place in person at the Singapore Eye Research Institute, The Academia, 20 College Rd, Level 6 Discovery Tower, Singapore 169856. Select sessions and other elements of the event will also be available online.

Those arriving from around the world can use Singapore Changi International Airport, a world-class destination in itself. The Airport is a key international hub and receives hundreds of flights each day from around the world.

Singapore Changi International Airport is a 45-minute Mass Rapid Transit journey to Outram Park and Havelock stations, which are situated close to the conference venue and recommended conference hotels.

The following hotels are working with IAPB to offer preferential rates for our delegates. Both hotels are a 15-minute walk, 5-minute bus ride or one stop on the MRT to the conference venue, they are also close to Robertson Quay, a popular riverside location with many restaurants and bars to eat and network at after the event.

InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay​

To book the preferential rates at the InterContinental between 22 – 28 June 2023 please click here. The rates for this hotel are only available between 22 – 28 June. If you wish to book dates outside of this date range please email [email protected]

Our preferential rates with the above two hotels will expire on 9 June, please book early to avoid missing out.

Please note that Singapore is a popular tourist destination and there are hotels to suit all tastes and price brackets within walking distance to the venue.

If you are unable to pay for registration via PayPal we are able to send you an invoice to secure your place. Please go through the registration process until you are given a reference number. Once you have this number, email [email protected] with your name, reference number, organisation name and number of delegates you are booking for. We will then work with you to send you the correct invoice for your registration and get your place secured for 2030 IN SIGHT LIVE, Singapore.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided at the conference venue during breaks on both days of the event.

There will also be a drinks reception for all attendees with traditional Singaporean street food on the evening of Sunday 25th June.

IAPB is unable to arrange space for individual meetings. However, rooms are available for IAPB Members to hold meetings at the Holiday Inn Atrium.

We are excited to get together in-person and know that in terms of COVID-19, the world is in a more positive place than it was in 2021 and 2022. However, in our planning, we are preparing for the realities of a possible COVID-19 outbreak or changes in the global situation.

We are working closely with our partners in Singapore to ensure that we are planning a COVID-19 secure event and attendees may be required to wear a mask in some or all areas of the venue.

At all points during planning for 2030 IN SIGHT LIVE our team have considered the impact on the climate and have endeavoured to reduce the carbon footprint of the event.

Delegates have the option to join us online, to help reduce travel. We encourage all those flying to Singapore to consider ways of reducing their carbon footprint during their trips.

There will be no printed materials, including printed advertising at the event and all programmes, agendas will be electronic.

Delegates are encouraged to use Singapore’s efficient and reliable public transport system. Delegates are also encouraged to take advantage of Singapore’s mild weather and walk to and from the venue.

Most nationalities can get a visa on arrival at the airport, but visitors should check their visa requirements before arriving. Singapore Changi International Airport has a range of helpful facilities and public transport options.

Money changing facilities and taxis are readily available, as well as car rental services, convenience stores and information desks for general queries.

There is no dress code for 2030 IN SIGHT LIVE. However, we’d encourage delegates to dress as they feel comfortable, and recommend smart or smart-casual attire.
