Vision Aid Overseas is looking for a Interim Director of Finance.
Vision Aid Overseas is seeking to appoint a new Interim Director of Finance, who will focus on ensuring that Vision Aid Overseas has the Finance and IT services necessary to deliver its mission and achieve its strategic goals. Reporting directly to the CEO and as part of the Senior Management Team, the post-holder will play an important role in the leadership and management of Vision Aid Overseas in helping deliver their new 10-year strategy.
The Director of Finance is responsible for the preparation of all financial information, relating to strategic projections, annual planning, budgeting and statutory accounts, monthly management accounts, audit processes and ensuring adequate financial controls and governance are in place including in our African programmes. They will contribute to risk management and will manage a small finance and administration team.
The successful candidate will be a team player with a hands on approach, ideally with non-profit/charity experience who is CCAB qualified. Experience of producing accounts compliant with the Charities SORP and with managing restricted programme funding would be an advantage.
As an interim appointment it is essential that the candidate can learn quickly on the job and is comfortable with remote working as part of our small team.
