Eye Health Care in Central and South Eastern Europe in 2009

Report of an investigation into the eye health situation and services in eight countries in Central and South Eastern Europe in 2009 carried out by the Lions International Educational Centre of Ophthalmology, Prague, Czech Republic. 

The eight principal countries investigated were: Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania and Serbia.

Additional information was obtained from ophthalmologists coming from the following countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and the Russian Federation.
