If you represent an academic/research institution
IAPB seeks to develop and disseminate the best possible evidence-based information and guidance to implementing agencies in developing countries.
Membership of IAPB is open to academic institutions, enabling them to share information, compare experiences and contribute more effectively to the work of committed NGOs and their partners.
The Links programme seeks to give teaching eye institutions in developing countries the skills and resources to develop high quality programmes, including training for eye care professionals such as doctors, nurses, managers and paramedical staff. The Links Programme works with overseas partner institutions (initially in Africa) to identify their main needs and priorities and then match those requirements with a suitable UK training eye unit.
