What was the Council of Members

The IAPB Council brought together world leaders in eye health and vision care to discuss issues relevant to the elimination of avoidable blindness and visual impairment globally.

Held annually, except Global Assembly years, the event brought together key decision makers from across the IAPB membership, as well as representatives from governments and the World Health Organization (WHO), and encouraged timely debate on emerging issues related to eye health.
