Tecnoftalmo 2023 Querétaro México

El Instituto Mexicano de Oftalmología (IMO) y el Bascom Palmer Eye Institute (BPEI), presentaron el evento Tecnoftalmo 2023 en Querétaro reuniendo a participantes de la oftalmología para explorar las últimas tendencias e innovaciones en el campo.

The Mexican Institute of Ophthalmology (IMO) and the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute (BPEI) presented Tecnoftalmo 2023, event in Queretaro, bringing together participants of ophthalmology to explore the latest trends and innovations in the field.

El lema del evento: “Por un Querétaro sin Retinopatía del Prematuro”, fue socializado por el director del IMO, el Doctor Ellery López, y contó con la presencia de la Dra Silvia Moguel presidenta de la Sociedad Mexicana de Oftalmología y la Dra. Martina Pérez de la Secretaría de Salud de Querétaro. Los recursos del evento serán invertidos en las revisiones oftalmológicas de bebés prematuros en las Unidades de Cuidados Intensivos Neonatales del estado de Querétaro, utilizando tecnología de punta y telemedicina.

The motto of the event: “For a Queretaro without Retinopathy of Prematurity”, was socialized by the director of IMO, Doctor Ellery López, and was attended by Dr. Silvia Moguel, president of the Mexican Society of Ophthalmology, and Dr. Martina. Pérez of the Queretaro Secretary of Health. The resources of the event will be invested in the ophthalmological check-ups of premature babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Units of the state of Querétaro, using state-of-the-art technology and telemedicine.

Además de los expertos clínicos en las diferentes áreas participaron también Thanet Natisri y Maciej Bazela, quienes ofrecieron charlas sobre trabajo en equipo y liderazgo sostenible. Thanet Natisri, conocido por su ingeniosa colaboración en el rescate de 13 niños en la cueva inundada de Tailandia en 2018, compartió sus experiencias y destacó cómo el trabajo en equipo y la colaboración pueden marcar la diferencia en situaciones críticas.

In addition to the clinical experts in the different areas, Thanet Natisri and Maciej Bazela sharedon teamwork and sustainable leadership. Thanet Natisri , known for his resourceful collaboration in rescuing 13 children from the flooded cave in Thailand in 2018 shared his experiences and highlighted how teamwork and collaboration can make all the difference in critical situations.

Maciej Bazela abordó la importancia del liderazgo sostenible en el sector de la salud y cómo el compromiso con la sostenibilidad puede tener un impacto positivo en la sociedad y en la práctica profesional del oftalmólogo.

Maciej Bazela addressed the importance of sustainable leadership in the health sector and how the commitment to sustainability can have a positive impact on society and on the professional practice of the ophthalmologist.

Tecnoftalmo 2023 fue un evento único y enriquecedor que reunió a profesionales de la

oftalmología, investigadores, residentes e industria del sector en un ambiente propicio para el aprendizaje y la creación de redes profesionales. El congreso proporcionó una plataforma para compartir conocimientos, discutir los avances más recientes y promover la excelencia en el cuidado ocular, así como la causa que une a todos: el cuidado de la visión y evitar la pérdida de visión prevenible.

Tecnoftalmo 2023 was a unique and enriching event that brought together professionals from ophthalmology, researchers, residents and industry in the sector in an environment conducive to learning and professional networking. The congress provided a platform to share knowledge, discuss the most recent advances and promote excellence in eye care, as well as the cause that brings every one together: Vision care and active prevention of vision loss.
