India Vision Institute organising a virtual research symposium

India Vision Institute is organising a virtual research symposium, ‘Resmeet 2021, in honour of Professor Brien Holden – a Salute to the Genius’, on 23 April, 4.00 pm to 8.00 pm IST.

The event will see global leaders in vision science research come together to talk and discuss the advancements in eye health research, and the ongoing work contributing to improving the quality of eye care services.

Ms Yvonne Holden, wife of late Prof Brien Holden, will open the symposium.

Speakers at the symposium will include Dr G N Rao, Founder-Chair, LV Prasad Eye Institute; Prof Kovin Naidoo, Senior Vice President, Social Impact: Africa & Latam and Advocacy, Essilor International; Prof Jason Nichols, Associate Vice President – Research and Professor, School of Optometry, University of Alabama at Birmingham; Prof Serge Resnikoff, Conjoint Professor, University of New South Wales, Sydney and Dr Ravi Bakaraju, Founder-Chairman, nthalmc, Associate Professor (Conjoint), University of New South Wales.

The symposium aims to create an informed pool of eye health professionals as well as inspire young minds to engage actively in research.
The session, which will be on Zoom, will be a platform for participants to educate, interact and connect with the leaders.
