Jessica Crafts Lawrence/ Story: Jessica Crofts-Lawrence joins IAPBI am delighted to introduce Jessica Crofts-Lawrence who has recently joined IAPB as the new Head of Policy and Advocacy. Jessica previously led on international policy issues at the Bar Council of England and Wales, the membership body for barristers.

Jessica spent over 4 years developing high-profile international justice projects, working closely with national Bar Associations, Chambers of Commerce, departments of justice and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. She was involved in promoting human rights and the rule of law around the world, including producing a ‘Lawyers at Risk’ report. She has built and managed meaningful partnership in countries such as China, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, South Korea, Ghana, Nigeria, Poland and Australia. Jessica is currently pursuing a masters in International Relations at the University of Cambridge. Her research focuses on the International Criminal Court and the Rohingya Crisis. She holds a law degree from the University of Surrey.
