Jissa James joins IAPB

IAPB has a new Knowledge Manager – Jissa James.

Jissa joins IAPB with a wealth of experience in leading knowledge programmes for over 12 years in India. As the General Manger for Professional Development at India Vision Institute,  she was instrumental in developing over 200 multidimensional and diverse eye health professional development programs, benefitting eyecare professionals and organizations across India. An optometry educator earlier,  she holds a bachelor degree in Optometry with additional certifications in ‘Writing in the Sciences’,  Stanford University – Online (Coursera) and Global Blindness: Planning and Managing Eyecare Services, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine – Online (FutureLearn).
