En el marco de la celebración del día de la mujer durante el mes de Marzo, contamos con la participación de varias colegas del área de la salud visual en América Latina, quienes nos comparten sus recomendaciones para seguir trabajando en la igualdad de Género.
Alejandra Castillo Optómetra y Docente Colombiana, resalta la importancia del apoyo empresarial a las actividades de bienestar donde se destaque el trabajo de la mujer y se le garantice un tiempo adecuado de consulta que permita ofrecer un cuidado adecuado a la salud de sus pacientes, lo que redundará en resultados positivos para la comunidad en general.
Patricia Durán Docente de Maestría en Salud Visual en Ecuador, destaca la labor de las Mujeres en la salud, al trabajar con una visión de servicio además de ser cabezas de hogar. La estrategia 2030 In Sight apunta a la integración y liderazgo al servicio de la comunidad.
