Scholarships now open for Master’s in Public Health for Eye Care

The International Centre for Eye Health’s Master’s in Public Health for Eye Care is an internationally renowned course for eye care professionals. Students learn how to develop and manage eye health programmes, undertake research, and become advocates to influence policy.

Since 1981 more than 750 alumni have taken the course, from over 100 countries, with many going on to become global leaders. Alumni have held leadership positions at WHO, Ministries of Health and national/international NGOs. The course provides an invaluable opportunity for professionals from around the world to network and make lifelong connections.

Each year, several scholarships are available to students of the course through the Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme.

Three scholarships are available this year for citizens from the following countries:

Bangladesh, Belize, Botswana, Cameroon, Dominica, Eswatini, Fiji, Gabon, The Gambia, Ghana, Grenada, Guyana, India, Jamaica, Kenya, Kiribati  Lesotho, Malawi, Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritius, Montserrat, Mozambique, Namibia, Nauru, Nigeria, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Rwanda, Saint Helena, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Samoa, Sierra Leone, Solomon Islands, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Togo, Tonga, Tuvalu, Uganda, Vanuatu and Zambia.

The deadline for applications is 16:00 (GMT) on Thursday 14 December 2023.
