Technology Taskforce Launch at APAO

Hard to believe it’s more than a month since we launched IAPB Eye Health Technology Guide in APAO Congress, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia! The evening was a great success with presentations from Dr Nor Fariza Ngah, National Head of Ophthalmology Services in Malaysia; Dr Daniel Ting, Associate Professor in Ophthalmology, DukeNUS Medical School; Jude Stern, Head of Knowledge, IAPB; Babar Qureshi, Vice President, IAPB; and Amanda Davis, Western Pacific Regional Chair, IAPB.

To all of the taskforce members who helped us develop the guide we say thank you – so many of you gave up valuable time over many months to add your expertise and real-life knowledge to the guide. It is this collective activity which makes IAPB so powerful and ensure that activities like the IAPB technology Taskforce result in useful, robust outcomes.
