CBM

CBM is one of the leading international development agencies for people with disabilities. It supports the provision of services to persons with visual, hearing and physical impairment in more than 113 developing countries. CBM assists persons with disabilities regardless of their nationality, gender, or religion.

CBM supports its partners in implementing the projects financially and by seconding qualified employees such as ophthalmologists and orthopaedic surgeons, administrators and CBR experts whose foremost task is to train national specialists. Helping others to help themselves is the most promising way to enable developing countries to gradually become independent of foreign aid.

The Fred Hollows Foundation

Seva Foundation is a global nonprofit eye care organization that works with local communities around the world to develop self-sustaining programs that preserve and restore sight. Seva works with partners in more than 20 countries including the US.

Sightsavers

Sightsavers aims to prevent avoidable blindness and support the inclusion of people with disabilities across the world’s poorest regions.

Sightsavers works in more than 30 countries and provide eye operations for people who need them, train eye care workers and surgeons to provide sight-saving treatment, and help people with disabilities to live independent lives. Through community volunteers, we also distribute medication to protect people from blinding diseases.

In all our health work we advocate for universal health coverage for everyone, meaning all people, wherever they live, can access quality, affordable health care.
