Focused on the transfer of knowledge transfer and training to university’s teaching professionals, for empowerment of local health professionals and strengthening of eye care programs in Sub-Saharan Africa. Through the creation of university subspecialties such as the postgraduate degree in Paediatric Ophthalmology at the Faculty of Medicine (UCAD-Senegal) and the postgraduate degree in Paediatric Optometry at the Faculty of Health Sciences (UNILURIO-Mozambique). This organization was founded in 2010 by Dr. Prat and his team from the San Juan de DÃos Pediatric Hospital in Barcelona (Spain).
