Pamozi

Pamozi is a nonprofit organization driven by the mission to improve eye health and access to vision care in disadvantaged communities, by conducting free vision screening programs.

Our core objective is to ensure that no child or adult is left behind due to preventable or treatable vision impairments. Access to vision care remains a significant challenge in many communities. Untreated vision problems can impact work performance, safety, and overall quality of life.

We believe that clear sight is not a privilege, rather it is a basic human right that affects a person’s ability to learn, work, and live with dignity. At the heart of Pamozi’s work is our commitment to collect, refurbish and distribute pre loved prescription glasses to individuals in need, while promoting regular eye screening and awareness about visual health.
