Media MICE believes great content can drive change—that’s why we’re proud to join IAPB.

Founded in 2009 in Singapore, Media MICE began with a bold idea: to shake up ophthalmic communications through global reach, scientific credibility and a splash of creative flair. What started as a solo venture by CEO Matt Young has grown into a full-fledged international media and digital marketing agency, specializing in ophthalmology and optometry.

Our team now spans Asia-Pacific, EMEA and the Americas—a diverse crew of writers, creatives, marketers and journalists committed to telling eye care stories that matter.

Whether we’re publishing a retina deep dive or capturing video highlights at a global congress, our mission has always been clear: to inform, inspire and connect the eye care community through content that’s engaging, innovative and impossible to ignore.

We publish three flagship magazines—PIE(posterior segment), CAKE (cataract, refractive, glaucoma and cornea) and COOKIE (optometry)—delivering smart, accessible content to eye care professionals around the world. And with MICE TV, we bring real-time, real-world video insights straight from the field.

We have worked alongside many of the leading names in global ophthalmology. From collaborating with major industry societies like ESCRS, AAO and APAO, to supporting major ophthalmic companies with their digital marketing and content strategy, we’re proud to be a trusted partner on all sides of eye care. Aligning with IAPB’s vision

At our core, we believe in the power of storytelling to drive change. And now, we’re proud to take that mission even further by joining the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB).

Why does this matter to us? Because our vision strongly aligns with the IAPB’s: a world where no one has to lose their sight to avoidable causes.
