I’m delighted to announce that the Africa Region will host the fifth 2030 IN SIGHT LIVE, our flagship global event dedicated to ending avoidable sight loss and achieving universal access to eye health. 

From 04 – 06 June 2026, Nairobi will unite global leaders, members and changemakers to accelerate progress on the 2030 In Sight strategy. This is more than a conference, it’s a rallying point for action. 

This year, we’re proud to spotlight the Africa Region, a powerhouse of eye health innovation. From mobile technologies to community-led outreach, Africa continues to redefine what’s possible. Nairobi, a vibrant hub of health collaboration, offers the perfect stage to amplify these efforts and turn strategy into impact. 

As we reach the midpoint of the 2030 In Sight Strategy, and with the Global Summit for Eye Health on the horizon, this event is a vital opportunity to align efforts, elevate commitments, and drive collective progress.
