Join us online for The Value of Vision: The Case for Investment in Eye Health

Hosted by the Honourable Gaston Browne, Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda, on behalf of the UN Friends of Vision.

The UN Friends of Vision, in collaboration with IAPB, is hosting a high-level meeting in the margins of the 80th United Nations General Assembly to highlight the transformative impact of investing in eye health and the policy frameworks needed to create, develop, and implement effective national eye health strategies across the human lifespan. Join us for this important discussion as we launch The Value of Vision: The Case for Investment in Eye Health, new research conducted by IAPB in partnership with the Seva Foundation and the Fred Hollows Foundation.

We want to provide an opportunity, to those unable to attend, to watch a livestream of the event. Viewers will hear compelling evidence of the high returns on investing in eye health interventions, national investment strategies and their impact, and discuss the concrete actions Member States can undertake to develop national roadmaps for the elimination of avoidable sight loss in the lead up to the Global Summit for Eye Health.
