Please join us for a captivating series of discussions that speak frankly on the challenges that women eye health professionals face and provide advice on seeking out career growth opportunities. The two-part series will offer practical advice and discuss real life experiences which have led to greater career satisfaction and advancement for the panellists. In total, you will hear from over 30 dynamic, engaging speakers who are experts in ophthalmology and inspiring global leaders. The two sessions (offered twice to accommodate a worldwide audience) include:

Session one

“Eyeing the Gap: Gender Inequities In Visual Health and the Workplace” examines global gender inequities in visual health and blindness and the impacts of gender bias in the workplace.

Session two

“Catapulting Your Career: Seeking Out Opportunities for Growth” discusses unique ways in which female eye health professionals can advance and elevate their presence in the ophthalmic community throughout different stages of their career.
