Since 2015, the IAPB World Sight Day Photo Competition has highlighted the importance of eye health, shone a light on vision impairment’s social and economic impact, and celebrated the tireless efforts of those who work to ensure healthy vision for all. With support from Bayer, the World Sight Day Photo Competition has shared thousands of images with the world. We thank the photographers, both amateur and professional, who have shared what they see with us.

The American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) has announced the recipients of two of its awards: International Blindness Prevention Award and Outstanding Humanitarian Service Award.
