Join us for the official side event at the WHA78, titled Eye Health Has 2030 In Sight: New Data, New Resolution, New Momentum. The event is being hosted by the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB); co-hosted by Paraguay, Malaysia, and CBM Christian Blind Mission and supported by the Fred Hollows Foundation. The event will feature the launch of new WHO global data on progress toward the eye health targets on refractive error, offering vital insights into successes, shortfalls and the path ahead.

The session will also introduce the proposed WHA Resolution on Sensory Impairments, which advocates for the integration of eye and hearing care into primary health systems. As momentum builds toward the Global Summit for Eye Health, this event is a critical moment to align action, policy, and political will to achieve vision for everyone, everywhere.

This is an in-person event taking place at the UN Palais. Please note that access to the side event requires WHA registration. Unfortunately, we are unable to assist with the WHA registration process.
