October is Ergonomics Month and what better time to learn more about staying safe and healthy in your practice and personal life? Join us October 9, 2025 for an educational and lively discussion on Ergonomics and Injury Prevention.

The Ergonomics and Injury Prevention Working Group seeks to educate Canadian ophthalmologists and trainees about ergonomic strategies – at home, in the clinic and the OR – to mitigate risk related to workplace injuries. Educational initiatives will include webinars, in-person sessions at the COS Annual Meeting, social media campaigns, and development of learning materials for physicians along their career spectrum.
