Shantilal Shanghvi Eye Institute is a not for profit eye institute with a vision “To reduce the prevalence of avoidable vision loss by delivering high-quality eye care to all.” Its mission is “To be a center of excellence in patient care, ophthalmic education, translational research and public health.”

We believe that every patient deserves access to world-class eye care. We offer a wide range of services, including preventive care, diagnostics and therapeutics. Our objectives include prevention of avoidable blindness, promote equity & inclusion in eye health care, partnerships and global collaboration, evidence based practice & research and advocacy and policy influence.
