Innovation, Collaboration and Impact in Eye Care – Vision for Viksit Bharat 2047

This 60-minute session brings together Vision 2020 members and key partners from India to share strategic updates from the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB) on the 2026 Global Summit for Eye Health, strengthen practical advocacy skills through the use of the Investment Case, and deepen partner engagement in the lead-up to the Summit.
A key focus of the session will be discussions on what constitutes a strong and meaningful commitment, an overview of commitment guidelines, and a practical workshop to support participants in drafting and refining commitments aligned with national priorities and global resolutions.

By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

• Understand the latest updates on the 2026 Global Summit for Eye Health and the commitment process.
• Strengthen their understanding of the Investment Case and apply it to advocacy scenarios.
• Participate in consultation and workshop discussions to draft and refine practical, action-oriented commitments aligned with national and global eye health priorities.
