Deutsches Komitee zur Verhütung von Blindheit/German committee for the prevention of blindness (DKVB)

They care for projects in Rumania, Philippines, Kenya, Tanzania, Democratic Republic of Congo, Malawi and Ethiopia. Another main issue is to support and finance the training of medical staff (eye nurses, cataract surgeon, low vision specialists, optometrists). The committee hopes that this will secure a long term supply of medical support in eye heath care for a long time to come.
