The just-launched Q.REC website offers a Toolkit to help assess the quality of refractive error care using trained undercover patients. Built in collaboration with global experts, Q.REC provides a standardized, validated method to evaluate if people are actually receiving the spectacles they need as well as establishing an evidence base to better understand where and why systems are falling short.

Every year, hundreds of millions are held back by uncorrected or poorly corrected refractive error, often because of the poor quality of eye care services. Q.REC is here to change that.

Whether you’re a policymaker, eye health practitioner, NGO, researcher, or educator, Q.REC is designed to support your efforts in delivering high quality refractive error services, where the eyeglasses provided do what they’re meant to do!

Explore the methodology, access resources, and see how Q.REC is already making an impact globally.
