The mention of ‘research’ can be off-putting and may seem irrelevant in the busy environment of a clinic or hospital. However, research is central to all aspects of eye care delivery, both inside and outside the clinic. A working knowledge of research – both how it is done, and how it can be used – is important for everyone involved in direct patient care and the planning & delivery of eye programmes.

This webinar focuses on the recent issue of the CEHJ ‘Why Does Research Matter’. It is an opportunity to hear from expert authors involved in the issue and ask questions pertinent to your practice.

Speakers include:

  • Professor Clare Gilbert – Professor of International Eye Health, LSHTM
  • Professor GVS Murthy – Professor of Public Health for Eye Care and Disability
  • Dr Suzanne Gilbert – Senior Director, Research & Strategic Opportunities, Seva Foundation
  • Dr Esmael Ali – Assistant Professor of Eye Health, LSHTM
