Join us in person and online at the 77th World Health Assembly Side Event on May 30, 2024 titled “Universal Access to Glasses: Promoting Multisectoral Action.”

With over 2.2 billion people affected by vision impairment, urgent action is needed. This high-level event, jointly hosted by the Permanent Mission of Malaysia and the Permanent Mission of Nepal, aims to galvanise support, promote collaboration across sectors, and discuss policy recommendations to integrate refractive error services into broader healthcare systems. Featuring keynote addresses, moderated panel discussions, and voices from organisations like IAPB, WHO, ILO and more, let’s work together to ensure universal access to essential eye care.
