LCIF releases list of SightFirst 2015 Grant Awardees

The Lions Clubs International Foundation‘s (LCIF) SightFirst program funds high-quality, sustainable projects that deliver eye care services, develop infrastructure, train personnel and/or provide rehabilitation and education in underserved communities. 

Lions have raised more than US$415 million to fund the SightFirst program and save sight around the world. Lions’ districts work with their regional SightFirst technical advisor in developing SightFirst grant applications and project proposals–these programmes have saved sight for millions.

The most recent list of approved grants (below) fund and support a number of Global Action Plan (GAP)-related activities, by supporting RAABs in a variety of locations, Surveys on the impact of Uncorrected Refractive Errors, NTD elimination, training and expansion/upgradation of existing eye care services. The list shows the range of support and the geographic spread of this remarkable programme.
