In late January the National Eye Care Working Group of Vietnam, Eye Care Working Group Laos and Sub-sectoral working group Cambodia held their first ever joint meeting. Convened by IAPB, the virtual meet-up was a chance to re-cap the eventful 2020 and look at a proposed plan of action for the year ahead.

The meeting was also a chance to launch the Community Engagement in Eye Health Assessment Tool (CEEHAT), which has been developed by the Fred Hollows Foundation to assess a communities knowledge, attitudes and perceptions to eye heath services. This meeting was a particularly important launch-pad, given the numerous IAPB member organisations working the sub-region – the CEEHAT is freely available and will hopefully be embraced by the sector.
