Light for the World

Light for the World is an international NGO working towards a world where people with eye conditions and disabilities can fully exercise their rights to health, education, work and protection in emergencies.

With projects in Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mozambique, South Sudan, Uganda, Light for the World strengthens health systems by training local eye health specialists, providing technical equipment and supporting surgeries, screenings and treatment campaigns. This work reaches women, children and people with disabilities, including in remote and rural communities, with the care they need.
