The IAPB Work Group Day, Tuesday, 25 June, is dedicated to our work groups, task forces, special interest groups and specially curated side meetings. Join us on this day for an additional opportunity to meet, discuss and share your experiences with peers and experts on key eye health issues. These groups are one of the most valued member engagement experiences at IAPB. Both Members and Non-Members are welcome to attend to this day.​

Registration FAQs

This year’s event will take place in-person at the Camino Real Hotel, Polanco on Wednesday 26 – Thursday 27 June 2024. Tuesday 25 June will be hosted at Asociación para Evitar la Ceguera en México. Further details about the venues and timetable of events will be uploaded when available.

We appreciate not everyone can make the event in person; therefore, we will have selected sessions livestreamed and other content available online. Please see our ‘Join Us Online’ page for up-to-date details on our online offer.

IAPB are pleased to offer our members an LMIC rate for this year’s global event. To check if you are eligible for the LMIC rate you can view the World Banks Groupings by clicking here.

To be eligible for either of the student rates for this year’s global event you must be studying at an academic institution and have access to a student card or form of student card which will be uploaded during registration. If you have any questions about the student registration please email [email protected].

Yes, you can add the IAPB Work Group Day ticket to your original booking at a later date by modifying your order. You can modify your order by clicking here.

You can book up to 20 individual delegates via our registration page. However, if you would like to book more than 20 delegates at a time please email [email protected] who can arrange this for you and will take payment via an invoice.

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, leading to the need for cancellations. For delegates who are no longer able to attend 2030 IN SIGHT LIVE, Mexico, ticket cancellations made more than 90 days prior to the event will be eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made between 90 days and 30 days will receive a 50% refund.  Unfortunately, we are unable to process any refunds for cancellations or no shows made less than 30 days before the event.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected] and will be processed within 30 days. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to this cancellation policy, as it helps us manage the logistics and ensure a successful event for all participants.

Camino Real, Polanco​
The Camino Real, Polanco, our host venue for the global event, is pleased to offer preferential rates to attendees of 2030 IN SIGHT LIVE. To book your accommodation conveniently within the event venue and access their discounted room rates, please click here.

Wyndham Garden Hotel, Polanco

This year’s event for the first time ever will have in-person sessions in English and Spanish. All four event rooms on 26 & 27 June will have simultaneous translations from English to Spanish, and Spanish to English to ensure inclusive participation in all discussions. ​

Due to popular demand, once again we will also be releasing several Pre-recorded International Language Panels prior to the event. To watch last year’s pre-recorded International Language Panels please click here.​

On 25 June, transportation will be arranged for all attendees of the Work Group Day from the Camino Real, Polanco to the Asociación para Evitar la Ceguera en México (APEC). The transportation schedule will be announced closer to the event and accessible to all participants.​

Please note that transportation will not be provided on 26 or 27 June 2024. We’ve secured discounted accommodation rates at both the Camino Real, Polanco the host venue for our Global Event. Also, the Wyndham Garden Mexico City Hotel, which is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the Camino Real, Polanco. We encourage delegates to take advantage of the preferential rates at these two hotels.​

For delegates staying farther from the event venue, Public Transport and Uber is readily available in Mexico City.​

Lunch and refreshments will be provided to all delegates at the conference venue during breaks on both days of the event. Please ensure you specify any allergies and dietary requirements upon registering for your place at the event.

We would also like to invite all delegates to an IAPB drinks reception on the evening of Wednesday 26 June, that will take place at the Camino Real Hotel. This reception will be a great way to network and continue the transformational conversations from the first day of the event.

There is no dress code for 2030 IN SIGHT LIVE. However, we encourage delegates to dress as they feel comfortable, and recommend smart or smart-casual attire.

Mexico City is a vibrant city and a diverse population where attires and cultural expressions are accepted.
