IAPB needs an experienced accountant to lead the small finance team through the busy year end period. The main focus during this period will be producing the annual statements, so the ideal candidate will have recent experience in creating SORP accounts and working with external auditors.

IAPB supports a global network of members including large INGOs, corporate bodies, national committees and small charity hospitals. This role interacts heavily with the finance functions in member organisations and with the Trustees. The ability to work with people from different backgrounds and with different sectors is extremely important.

IAPB’s staff are spread across the globe so experience of building relationships remotely to support budget holders and project managers with their planning and reporting is needed. This role is also responsible for to the supervision of the other two members of the finance team who are based in London. The ability to coach and create an effective team is critical
