Help support translation of CEHJ text for Opthalmic Nurses

Published: 23.03.2017

Heather Machin (Australia), Lisa Buckland (Australia) and Sandy Burnett (USA) are walking to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Camino de Santiaga to fund-raise for the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

The funds raised will help the Community Eye Health Journal translate a FREE e-text for ophthalmic nurses and technicians working in the operating theatre (OR). It is the only text available for this specialist group.

This will support thousands of ophthalmic operating theatre nurses and technicians, and their patients all over the world.

Funds will be used to support the translation to Chinese, Vietnamese, Spanish, French, Portuguese and Arabic.

The funds will go directly to the CEHJ Team and the Rosetta Foundation (Ireland), who will be developing these free e-translations.
