On May 19, the meeting of Mexican IAPB members was held at the Asociación para Evitar la Ceguera (APEC) hospital in Mexico City.
This gathering, which brought together all our local members as well as corporate and organizational allies linked to eye health, focused onsharing further details about the upcoming Global Summit for Eye Health and, subsequently, working on drafting commitments.
These proposals will be shared with national authorities so they can be analyzed and potentially presented at the Summit, which will be held thiscoming November in Antigua and Barbuda.
We are immensely grateful for the hard work and collective effort that has resulted in a first draft of commitments to be presented to the Mexican authorities.
