Vision Excellence Awards: Silvio Mariotti

Dr Silvio Mariotti is an ophthalmologist and a medical officer at the Department of Noncommunicable Diseases, the World Health Organization (WHO). He has also played a key role in the Lions Clubs International Foundation’s (LCIF) SightFirst Advisory board.

Dr Mariotti has played a crucial role in VISION 2020’s roll-out, including in producing the evidence of its impact around the world.
