Annual review: Establish monitoring, evaluation, and review processes

Monitoring is the ongoing collection and review of information about the implementation of a eye care strategic plan.

Evaluation is the periodic, retrospective assessment of an ongoing or completed strategic plan.

Often accountability for progress on a strategic plan doesn’t exist. It’s critical a monitoring and evaluation plan is in place from the outset.

This will help monitor the results of the strategic plan against the objectives and identify successes and failures.
