Help Sought for Database of Accessible Book Sources

Published: 27.01.2016

The Accessible Books Consortium (ABC) is compiling an international database of accessible book sources, both online and within countries.

ABC wants to identify both lending (free) and commercial (for a fee) services that offer accessible books. The following link is an example of accessible book sources, mainly from the UK: https://www.getitrightfromagenuinesite.org/genuine-sites/ebooks/

The list is an example of the types of sources been sought. You may organize whatever you submit in a similar fashion or however seems best to you.

ABC’s aim is to make it easier for people with print disabilities to find accessible books in every country. Any assistance you can offer the ABC would be much appreciated.

For more information or to submit a list, please contact Caitlin Reid at the World Blind Union.
