Join the Leading Global Eye Health Alliance.
MembershipOver the past month, we brought together nearly 100 senior leaders from member organisations for a series of commitment workshops, designed to help shape organisational pledges for the Global Summit for Eye Health.
These workshops created a valuable space for members to explore what meaningful commitments could look like within their organisations, and to discuss the opportunities, challenges and practical steps needed to formalise their pledges.
A huge thank you to the members who led and facilitated these workshops:
A commitment is a formal public pledge made by a government, organisation, business or international institution to take specific action, allocate resources, or achieve measurable targets in support of our shared goal: ending avoidable sight loss.
Commitments from across governments, the eye health sector and the private sector will be among the most important outcomes of the Summit. They demonstrate a united global voice and reinforce that eye health is a shared priority that requires coordinated, collective action.
All commitments submitted through the official commitment portal will be published in a formal document and presented at the Global Summit.
We encourage all members to make an organisational commitment. To support this process, commitments can be guided by the Summit’s Policy Framework and the six Accelerators outlined in the Value of Vision report. Click here to download: https://www.iapb.world/value_of_vision_tools_and_resources
