The Energy of 2030 IN SIGHT LIVE

There is an energy that emerges when people who are passionate about change gather in one place…not just to talk, but to unite for impact. That’s the spirit of 2030 IN SIGHT LIVE. Centred around IAPB’s 2030 IN SIGHT Strategy, this annual, flagship event brings together leaders, advocates, policymakers, funders, and innovators who share a common purpose: quality, accessible eye care for all. 

At 2030 IN SIGHT LIVE Kenya, there are six key opportunities participants can engage to make real-world impact: 

First. Connections That Spark Change
It’s where a district-level practitioner meets a policymaker shaping national strategy, an NGO leader discovers a partner tackling the same challenge on another continent, and funders hear stories that give data new meaning. “We can only make a difference together and the global problem needs to move from professional to personal, from information to inspiration,” said Andrew Yang, SEE Together, attendee of 2030 IN SIGHT LIVE 2025, Nepal. These interactions turn ideas into tangible collaborations.

Forth. Momentum That Drives Progress
“It’s really important to get together from all places as possible and have the chance to raise a voice and to get to know other social actors that are actively involved in a similar mission. It’s a learn, teach, integrate experience,” shared Ryan Toes, CEO Foundation Vision, about 2030 IN SIGHT LIVE, Mexico. The IAPB community creates progress collectively. Side conversations become partnerships, ideas become action plans, and commitments made in the room translate into measurable impact.
