UN Women I know Gender 1-2-3 course

A great way to kickstart gender equity training is to point colleagues to this UN course: I Know Gender 1-2-3: Gender Concepts to get Started; International Frameworks for Gender Equality; and Promoting Gender Equality throughout the UN System

This course aims to develop and/or strengthen awareness and understanding of gender equality and women’s empowerment as a first step towards behavioural change and the integration of a gender perspective into everyday work.

The Fred Hollows Foundation Gender Equity in Eye Health course examines definitions of gender, gender equality and equity in eye health.

The course also shares stories of success, where someone has been able to overcome gender inequity to achieve success.
