LIGHT FOR THE WORLD a European confederation of national development NGOs is looking to recruit a new International Director for Programmes and Advocacy.

LIGHT FOR THE WORLD strives for a world in which persons with disabilities in developing countries have a decent life, equally participate in society and have access to their rights.

It focuses on persons with disabilities living in poverty, who are amongst the most excluded and underprivileged groups in society. Putting them at the centre of development efforts will advance the removal of barriers for other excluded groups as well and bring about change towards an inclusive society.

To strengthen the leadership of its highly committed and passionate team it is now looking to recruit an International Director Programmes & Advocacy.

Key focus: together with the International Director Programme Implementation you are in charge of the international programme, policy and advocacy work of LIGHT FOR THE WORLD. Your role has a strong orientation on external representation; you are responsible for the overall management of international and national advocacy, policy dialogue and alliance building.
