Nominations are now being accepted for the Lions/PAAO Award in Blindness Prevention, which will be awarded at the XXXIII Pan-American Congress of Ophthalmology, in Lima, Peru in August 2017.
The award will be granted to a Peruvian ophthalmologist who has demonstrated a strong commitment to providing and developing eye care services in underserved communities throughout Peru. The award is made possible through LCIF’s SightFirst program and includes a US$1,000 grant and travel budget to attend the Regional Course.
