I am delighted to introduce Nick Parker who has recently joined IAPB as the new Head of Commercial Development. Nick has previously worked at a senior level in “not for profit” organisations in the UK and brings a wide range of experience in building impactful corporate partnerships, developing marketing, services and business development strategy and implementation.
Nick had an extensive career at The Scout Association, a large co-educational membership organisation with a UK and global membership of adults and young people. He spent over ten years leading a commercial portfolio of outdoor activity centres, campsites, hotels and event centres alongside actively building new income streams including brand licensing and new member service offers. Nick then spent a couple of years at a leading literacy charity where he led the development of the service offer to support young people struggling with reading and significantly increased sales to primary schools across the UK. Following this Nick was recruited by Raleigh International, a leading sustainable development charity, to bring together and lead a range of business development functions and fundraising across the organisation including supporting country offices in Nepal, Nicaragua, Borneo and Tanzania.
