Save the Date for the 2018 Tele-Ophthalmology & AI ConferenceThe Edward S. Harkness Eye Institute, Columbia University Medical Center, will be holding a Tele-Ophthalmology & Artificial Intelligence Conference in April 2018.  The conference will be held on April 6, 2018 in New York City.

It will be co-chaired by Lama A. Al-Aswad, MD, MPH, Associate Professor of Ophthalmology and Louis Pizzarello, MD, MPH, Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology. It has been approved for AMA PRA category 1 credit from Columbia University.

The conference will include:

  • Cutting-edge topics in tele – ophthalmology, artificial intelligence and the use of technology to improve access to care and health care outcomes.
  • A platform for education, exchange of experiences and networking in the emerging field of tele -ophthalmology for ophthalmologists, clinicians in other medical fields, and people in industry working on tele – medicine and information technology.

The College of Physicians and Surgeons designates this live activity for a maximum of 7.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
