Under the theme “Unite for Impact”, this is a moment for leaders, innovators, and advocates to come together, share ideas, and spark collaborations that will push the boundaries of what is possible in eye health.

Kenya is leading the way in translating the 2030 In Sight Strategy, https://www.iapb.org/about/2030-in-sight/ , vision into reality. The country has completed the Eye Care Situation Analysis (ECSAT) and is actively integrating SPECS initiatives into the National Eye Health Strategy. Recently, Kenya developed the Primary Eye Care (PEC) manual and is already training primary care workers to deliver quality care at the community level. Digital innovations are enhancing service delivery by enabling community health volunteers to screen, track, and follow up with patients efficiently. These efforts, driven through strong partnerships demonstrate Kenya’s commitment and leadership in advancing eye health, turning ambitious global goals into tangible local impact.
