2018 António Champalimaud Vision Award

The 2018 António Champalimaud Vision Award will be presented to active research groups involved in basic or clinical research which has led to a major breakthrough in the understanding and/or the preservation of vision.

Candidates will be considered by a distinguished international jury for the outstanding quality and distinction of their original research contributions, the contemporary relevance of their work and measurable impact of their achievements.

The award may be used in any way that furthers the outstanding contributions of the recipients. This could be furthering basic, translational or clinical research, clinical practice or public health programmes. Nominations are requested from members of the scientific community in order to identify the most exceptional candidates.

The deadline for submissions is December 31st 2017.
