The Barcelona Principles now available in five languages

The International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB) is an alliance of civil society organisations, private sector, and professional bodies promoting eye health through advocacy, knowledge and partnerships.

Cover of the Principles/ Story: The Barcelona Principles now available in five languagesThe Barcelona Principles are now available in Arabic, Chinese (simplified), French, Portuguese-Brazilian and Spanish (Latin). The Barcelona Principles are an agreement on the use of human donated tissue for ocular transplantation, research and future technologies.

They wish to acknowledge IAPB member, the Centre for Eye Research Australia for overseeing the project, and for individual languages: Arabic: Haitham Al Mahrouqi, Chinese: Chia-Li Pang, French: Christine Milot and Patricia-Ann Laughrea, Portuguese-Brazilian: Ana Maria Guimarães Garcia, Luciene Barbosa de Sousa, and Bruno Lovaglio Cançado Trindade, and Spanish: Enrique O Graue-Hernández.
